In response to the more than 1,000 phone calls and emails received from community members beginning minutes after Shabbos ended, Chai Lifeline/Project Chai is sponsoring an evening of information and chizuk for members of the community. Noted rabbis will join together to offer solace as well as suggestions for parents, educators and community leaders to help all of us understand and begin to heal after this horrific tragedy.
The gathering will be held tonight, Monday, at 8:00PM in Magen David Yeshiva, 2130 McDonald Avenue.
Addressing the gathering will be Rabbi Joey Haber, Dean, Religious studies, Magen david High School; Rabbi Yaakov Dovid Klar, LMSW, Associate Director, Project Chai; and Rabbi Yisroel Reisman, the Rov of Agudath Israel of Madison and Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Vodaath.
Any parent that needs guidance in talking or responding to their children or whose children are asking questions that are difficult to respond to, are urged to attend this important gathering.
The event will be streamed live on Yeshiva World News, www.TheYeshivaWorld.com, as well as on teleconference at 718-258-2008 Menu 9 option 1.
