The various party officials have been calling and meeting as talks towards forming a coalition have begun, albeit unofficially. On Sunday 2 Nissan at 13:00, faction members of Yahadut Hatorah visited the President’s Residence to meet with President Reuven Rivlin to make their recommendation regarding who should be given the mandate to set up the next government.
On motzei Shabbos, Shas leader Aryeh Deri visited the Sanzer Rebbe Shlita in the rebbe’s home. It is reported that Deri updated the rebbe on ongoing coalition efforts. The rebbe gave Deri a bracha for success in his political efforts on ehalf of the tzibur. Deri met with the rebbe for about an hour.
Elsewhere, Yahadut Hatorah MK Yaakov Litzman visited the Belzer Rebbe Shlita to update him on ongoing coalition efforts. Litzman arrived at the rebbe’s home in Kiryat Belz in the capital.

Centrist or Independent parties
