Court Takes Post Traumatic Stress into Consideration for Sentencing of Sderot Resident

The Beersheva Magistrate’s Court took the fact that a Sderot resident is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder when sentencing him to six months in prison.

The Sderot resident is employed as a manager at the Karni Crossing to Gaza and he was found guilty of accepting bribes from truck drivers.

The court did accept requests to consider the fact that he has been living under the threat of rocket attack for years, resulting in a light sentence despite the severity of his actions.
