PM Netanyahu Denies Feiglin’s Request to Visit Har Habayis

feigPrime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu turned down a request from Moshe Feiglin, with the latter asking to permit him and his son Dovid to visit Har Habayis on the day of his son’s chasenah.

In his request Feiglin detailed this is the son who was gravely injured in a vehicular accident five years ago and B’chasdei Hashem defied the odds and recuperated. He explains that it would be most significant to permit him to visit Har Habayis on the day of his chasenah.

As per a directive from the prime minister, Cabinet Ministers and Members of Knesset are not permitted to visit Har Habayis. Feiglin, who is still a Likud MK, asked Mr. Netanyahu to make an exception.

Despite the special circumstance, Mr. Netanyahu is unwilling to make an exception to accommodate Feiglin and his son. The Temple Mount Institute called the prime minister’s decision “cowardly”.

  1. If he wins Netayahu should make this his first gesture to show the arabs who owns the land of Israel including the Temple Mount.
