· A chareidi man in the community of Tel Tzion was detained by authorities after he took all of the ballot slips of the Yachad party.
· 12:40: Police are checking into alleged election fraud in a Givat Mordechai, Jerusalem polling station. A couple that arrived to vote learned they were listed as having voted two hours earlier.
· One person was detained in Ramat Shlomo after he took all of the voting ballot slips from one of the parties.
· PM Netanyahu: The right-wing’s rule is in danger. Arabs are voting in droves.
· 12:00: Voter turnout 26.5%, about the same as in the last elections at this time.
· The Central Election Committee has prohibited Shas from continuing to distribute papers with a photo of Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef ZT”L saying “Maran said one who votes Shas goes directly to Gan Eden”.
· One Shas activist required medical attention following a confrontation with Yachad activists.
· 13:00: Police are investigating election fraud in the Um el-Fahm voting station.
· Kol Chai Radio reports that HaGaon HaRav Shalom Cohen Shlita has sent his son to speak with HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Auerbach Shlita, promising Shas’ cooperation regarding the chareidi election law.
· Yisrael Beitenu reports to authorities its party’s activists were attacked in the Israeli Arab municipalities of Nazareth, Baka el-Garbiya, Kara, and Sakhnin. Party poll watchers are not permitted to enter voting stations.
· 12:30: Voter turnout 22.7% in kibbutzim. In the previous election for 19th Knesset, that number at this time was 71%. Kibbutz leaders are calling on residents to get out and vote.
· Central Election Committee rejects Yachad party complaint against Shas for using a photo of Rishon L’Tzion Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Shlita voting. The committee ruled the photo is not a violation.
· 13:24: Central Election Committee prohibits Shas’ distribution of cameos.
· 13:30: Chabad reports thousands of people nationwide have put on Tefilin today as there are over 1,000 Chabad Chassidim at voting booths, taking advantage of Election Day to persuade men to fulfill the mitzvah of tefilin.
· 13:45: Head of Um el-Fahm polling station detained on suspicion of voting fraud.
· The grandfather of MK Ze’ev Elkin, 90, fell as he exited a voting station in Jerusalem’s N’vei Yaakov neighborhood. He was niftar as a result.
· 13:58: PM Netanyahu loaded a video to his Facebook page once again expressing concerns over the high voter turnout in the Arab sector.
