An IDF soldier from Beersheva has been arrested on suspicion of incitement and making threats against left-wing political candidates in a Facebook posting. The post says “If a leftist will rise to power I promise and swear I will become the next Yigal Amir”.

The suspected has admitted to the Facebook post and is scheduled to be remanded on Tuesday, 26 Adar. Police plan to ask the court to deny bail.
