YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of longtime Queens Hatzolah member Yehuda (Jud) Mansbach Z”L. R’ Yehuda was from the original group of Queens Hatzolah members, and was a volunteer for more than 30 years. He was known by his unit number “Q-39”. Jud was an employee for many years at the FCC, and was highly influential in securing Central Hatzolah the license on their current radio frequency which has saved tens of thousands of lived.

Jud was diagnosed with a serious illness a few years ago, and was Niftar late Friday afternoon.

The Levaya will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2:00PM at the Schwartz Brothers Funeral Home, 114-03 Queens Blvd. The Kevurah will be at Mount Judah Cemetery, 8114 Cypress Avenue, Ridgewood, NY 11385.
