Dear Friends,
On behalf of Jonathan Pollard, thank you for your efforts on his behalf.
Your letters, faxes and phone calls to the white house were a powerful tool and an important chizzuk, source of encouragement. Your tefillos, prayers on his behalf, were and are very special.
Although, president bush did not grant Jonathan clemency, our efforts must continue.
Please—-
-keep davening for the health and freedom of Yehonosson ben Malka [Pollard]
-please write him letters, letters of support, of chizuk, of divrei torah.
Jonathan refers to these letters as his “oxygen”.
The letters can be from adults and children, from families and school classes. Please be sure the letters are written in English only. Please just send him letters, no enclosures (tapes, gifts, etc). Please choose one day each week, make that your day, each week, to write another letter. Ask your family members and friends to do the same.
Please send the letters to:

Rav Lerner LOY”T:
All of us sincerely appreciate all your devoted efforts on behalf of Reb Yehonosson LOY”T. Should we contact President Obama regarding a possible pardon/clemency? What would be most effective at this time?
Why stop bombarding the Whithouse with calls? Obama is the new saviour and according to our lefty friends “a true friend of Israel”. If so lets get Pollard pardoned by keeping up the full court press on President Hussein.
I think we are waisting our time. It seems that the people on top in Israel are the problem.
I still don’t get why people are so caught up on pollard. he’s not the only jew who is in prison with a jail-sentence that one might view as excessive.
he didn’t spy for the sake of Israel, he spied for the sake of the all-mighty dollar and hence why he spied for south africa, and tried to spy for pakistan as well.
Great point #4. I am convinced theres more to the whole Pollard stry than we are being made aware of.

Rabbi P.Lerner, A’M’V’E’S’TOVIM ARUCIM,
I would to leave you a messege , that you should it take it in consideration .Remember, Hakol B’dai Shumiem, but you should know that my feelings goes out alot to Jonathan ben Malka , but i feel that a realease for Mr . Pollard will not go through H”Yerachim because i feel that the Israeli Goverment has alot to say in his “release” & they do not want him to be free , because if he is freed ,It’s a great possibilty he will most likely not be quiet & tell his part of what went on in the Israeli Embassy in Wahington,D.C. There are to many high retired minister in Israel that are still alive & therefore they(Israelies) will not give in that the USA should release him from Jail. That’s my personal views that i have seen & read alot regarding Jonathan be Malka Pollard .I think Rabbi Lerner if you have the strength to the goverment of Israel, maybe you”ll be a little more successful .
Could anybody please tell me if i can send him a book/sefer to read – it is written entirely in english?
