Israel on Tuesday will once again open the Kerem Shalom and Karnei Crossings to Gaza to permit at least 200 trucks of humanitarian aid to enter the Hamas-controlled area.
Officials point out that for a first time since Operation Cast Lead began; fresh fruits and vegetables will be included in the shipment.
The Nachal Oz fuel depot will also be operational to permit the delivery of fuel into Gaza via the Nachal Oz Crossing.
In the meantime, a somewhat trimmed down IDF forces remains in Gaza, with IDF officials announcing soldiers understand they are to open fire in response to any gunfire or life-threatening threats.
