A few hundred people were on hand for the Monday evening protest outside the Tel Aviv offices of the International Red Cross, calling on the international organization to condemn Hamas’ actions regarding the prolonged captivity of Gilad Shalit. Participants in the event cited that in over 2.5 years as a prisoner, presumably in Gaza, Hamas has not permitted any humanitarian visits and has not permitted anyone to visit Shalit to provide first hand testimony regarding his condition.
The organization’s director in Israel, Pierre Fitch came out and spoke with the protestors, explaining to them the IRC would not release a condemnatory statement against Hamas as they demand.

Is there a phone number to call the IRC and to protest?
