French police on Monday arrested three suspects in the case of a Jan. 4 petrol bomb attack on a Shul in southwestern France.
About a dozen people were attending a Shiur inside the Shul when a car was set on fire and pushed into the door of the building. Police found unexploded petrol bombs inside a second car, which did not catch fire. Both cars were stolen.
All those inside the building escaped unharmed.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy sharply condemned the anti-Semitic attack and said in response that France “will not tolerate that international tension is turned into inter-community violence.”
