French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel are scheduled to arrive in Israel on Sunday as the international community increases pressure on Jerusalem to accept an Egyptian ceasefire proposal despite Hamas continuing rocket attacks, announcing a ceasefire will not result in the release of Gilad Shalit, and stating Israel must accept all of its terms.
