Bayit Yehudi leader Economy Minister Naftali Bennett used his Facebook page to send a message to potential voters. Bennett accuses Likud of being less than honest with voters. “The mask has been removed” Bennett stated. He alleges that after Election Day Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will try to form a national unity coalition with Labor/The Movement and will try to exclude Bayit Yehudi from the coalition.
Bennett explains that voters must vote for his party for this will result in Mr. Netanyahu serving as prime minister and but a strong Bayit Yehudi is needed to guarantee its influence over the next coalition.
Bennett adds that following the last elections Prime Minister Netanyahu decided to bring The Movement party into the coalition even though Tzipi Livni only managed to gain six seats. He warns voters that voting for Likud may result in Bayit Yehudi being excluded from the next coalition.
In response, Likud officials stated once again there will not be a national unity government headed by Likud as Bennett alleges.
