PA (Palestinian Authority) officials on Thursday morning 14 Adar reported two vehicles were set ablaze and Hebrew graffiti was left on the scene in a village in the Ramallah district during the night. Police and IDF Civil Administration officials were summoned to the village of el-Muayer to investigate what appears to be a so-called price tag attack.
PA officials add that about two months ago a mosque in the same village was targeted in an arson attack. The PA official neglected to report that Israeli military officials and police were not permitted access to the mosque but it was learned soon thereafter nonetheless that there was no price tag arson attack, but simply a fire due to an electric short circuit.
