A Katyusha rocket slammed into an Ashdod home a short time ago. According to preliminary reports, at least one person was injured, apparently in light-to-moderate condition. There are others being treated for hysteria. EMS personnel are evaluating the scene to determine if there are others with physical injuries. A rocket also landed in Netivot. There are reports of a number of hysteria/shock victims.

A short time ago, sirens also sounded in Ashkelon and Kiryat Gat. In Kiryat Gat, a number of people were treated for hysteria and there were reports of property damage. There were no injuries. At about 2:10PM there was also another rocket attack without injuries in Ashdod. Sirens also sounded in Beersheva, apparently a false alarm.

Elsewhere, a number of security personnel were lightly injured in rock-throwing attacks in an anti-partition fence protest at Na’alin. In Chevron, an Arab who was throwing rocks at security forces was shot dead. The assailant was one of over 1,000 people taking part in a pro-Hamas protest near Chevron’s Jewish Quarter.
