Maynei HaYeshua Hospital Assists S. Residents

Bnei Brak’s Maynei HaYeshua Hospital is assisting southern Israeli residents residing temporarily in the hospital’s area, providing them with medical care without demanding they present the usually-required paperwork from their family doctor and/or HMO.

Hospital officials see this as fulfilling a requirement of assisting the residents who fled the rocket attacks and are without an ability to receive medical attention from their primary physician.

Hospital Director Dr. Yoram Lauer explains this is a campaign undertaken by the hospital to assist southerners in a time of need. Services offered residents include adult and pediatric emergency room, orthopedic services, and other services, without demanding payment.

Hospital officials are also working to arrange housing for southern residents seeking to temporarily relocate due to the ongoing warfare.
