The Central Election Committee on Sunday, 26 Shevat approved the 26 lists of candidates competing in the 20th Knesset elections as well as the letter codes that will be sued on the voting ballots to represent each party.
Committee Director-General Orli Adas announced that once the final approval is given, the order will be given to print over 6 million ballot slips for each of the parties running.
On Tuesday, 28 Shevat, a 9-justice panel of the Supreme Court is expected to convene to hear the appeals of candidates Baruch Marzel and Hanin Zoabi, who were disqualified from running by the Central Election Committee. Once the court’s decision is announced, the final lineup of each party competing in elections will be publicized.
