In response to the fatal terror attacks in Copenhagen and at the request of the Jewish community leaders, ZAKA International Chief Officer Mati Goldstein and ZAKA Chief of Operations Chaim Weingarten departed for Copenhagen on Sunday afternoon 26 Shevat.
On arrival they will work in cooperation with local emergency forces, before entering the scene in order to clear all human remains and spilled blood in order to ensure a full Jewish burial for the victim.
Mati Goldstein led the ZAKA International Rescue Unit delegation to Paris a month ago, following the terror attacks at Charlie Hebdo magazine offices and the Hyper Cacher.
