Reports say that there has been a shooting at a Copenhagen synagogue.
According to the local reports, the shots were fired at around 7 p.m. ET at the synagogue in Crystal Street in central Copenhagen. Police say one person was shot in the head and two policemen were injured by gunfire before the shooter fled by foot.
However, police said it was too early to link the synagogue shooting to Saturday’s shooting that left one civilian dead and three police wounded.
The spokesman for the Jewish religious communities in Denmark, Dan Rosenberg Asmussen, told BBC News that he is on his way to the synagogue at this moment.
He has no further information at this time.
