Today, the Orthodox Union (Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America), the nation’s largest Orthodox Jewish umbrella organization, commended the Florida House of Representatives for unanimously passing a resolution showcasing solidarity and support with the people and State of Israel as they battle Hamas terror.  The resolution, spearheaded by Majority Leader Adam Hasner (R-Delray Beach) had 110 co-sponsors; a similar resolution in the Senate has been introduced by Senator Ted Deutch (D-Boca Raton).

Howie Beigelman, Deputy Director of Public Policy for the Orthodox Union stated:

“As they defend the children of Sderot and the south from the continuous rocket barrages and mortar fire of Hamas, Israel’s soldiers and civilians take strength and comfort knowing free people an ocean away stand with them in their fight for survival against terror.  Kudos to Leader Hasner and Senator Deutch for their leadership on this.”
