Taking full advantage over the stir surrounding Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s planned congressional address, Labor party leader Yitzchak Herzog told the press that his first priority as prime minister will be rehabilitating relations between Jerusalem and the White House.
The Labor party leader has stated repeatedly that Mr. Netanyahu should announce he is canceling his address rather than to continue eliciting the ire of US President Barak Obama.
From Herzog’s perspective, Netanyahu failed in handling the Iranian situation during the last two years of his administration and now, with elections on the horizon, he is desperate and due to the mounting election pressure, he is willing to sacrifice Israel/US relations to deliver the address which lacks any significance.

The problem with Obama is Obama. Herzog can’t rehabilite that. Herzog is ready to cave in to the US interest of the moment. He has no idea of the destiny of the Jewish people in G-d’s world. He is part of the Arev-Rav and proud of it. Netanyahu is a big caver-in as well. Netanyahu is not moshiach either. We have to elect G-d to be our king. That is the solution to all our problems.

“Herzog is ready to cave in to the US interest of the moment.”
This statement needs a minor adjustment. It’s not the US interest that Herzog would cave , it’s Obama’s interest and agenda that he would go along with, irrespective of the harm it would cause Israel.
