The Movement for Quality Government (MQG) on Tuesday morning 21 Shevat filed a petition with the Supreme Court seeking to compel the dismissal of Deputy Interior Minister Fanny Kirshenbaum of Yisrael Beitenu, who is a major suspect in the ongoing Israel Police investigation into widespread government corruption.

The petitioner explains that in addition to being a suspect, Kirschenbaum has opted to exercise her right to remain silent and she is not cooperating with investigators. The petitioner feels that in light of the ongoing investigation the deputy minister should be compelled to resign her post and be distanced from the ministry office and all cabinet affairs.
