YWN notes the passing of Andrew Joseph Parise, Mayor of the Incorporated Village of Cedarhurst. Having worked in public service for over sixty years, and in Village Hall for 44 years, Mayor Parise succumbed to a brief illness. A giant in the political world, Mayor Parise served as Mayor, working tirelessly at his desk at Village Hall through the last moments of his life. Mayor Parise’s love for his family, friends, country and his beloved Village, were truly legendary. He will be missed by all.
