A total of 57 soldiers have been wounded in the fighting in Gaza. Two remain in very serious condition, in Beilinson and Tel Hashomer Hospitals. Baruch Hashem, most of the wounded are listed in light condition.
According to Adil, the father of the Golani soldier in Tel Hashomer, the doctors tell him the young soldier, Walid, 20, is in critical condition and fighting for his life after sustaining a serious head injury from shrapnel.
Adil states he has not yet spoken with military officials regarding the details of the mistaken fire incident, but he knows Walid was among the 24 soldiers that were in the building hit by tank fire. Adil explains they are trying to stop the cranial bleeding, and as a result of his extensive injuries, he is in a medically induced coma.
