12:34: An explosive device was hurled at IDF soldiers manning the Beit Fouriq Checkpoint in the Shechem area of Shomron. No injuries were reported.

12:54: Sirens in Ashkelon signal an incoming rocket attack.

The cabinet continues meeting at this time in the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv.

1:02: Sirens are now sounding in Sderot and Ashkelon.
