The Knesset Channel commissioned a poll to determine how many seats Likud would receive if it runs together with Bayit Yehudi. The joint ticket earned 40 seats, which may sound impressive but it does not represent a major gain as compared to running independently, which yielded a combined 39 seats; 23 for Likud 16 for Bayit Yehudi.
If the parties run independently, Labor/The Movement remains larger, with 24 seats. The Knesset Channel adds that if running independently, Bayit Yehudi has not succeeded in breaking 16 seats in any of its polls.
Poll results:
Likud/Bayit Yehudi: 40
Labor/The Movement: 24
