You may not know that back in the 1940s and 50s, Rav Avrohom Kalmanovitz spent a huge amount of time and effort in Morocco. He eventually brought some 2 dozen or so to come and learn in the Mir Yeshiva in Brooklyn. At that time there was a significant Sephardi presence in the yeshiva, from those and some others. The one in the video is one of them. His name, if we’re allowed to put that up, is Reb Makhlouf Suissa from Chicago. If we’re not allowed, please just delete that and post the rest.
The person saying kaddish is a huge tzadik by the name of Reb Makhlouf Suissa. He lives in Chicago. Reb Shmuel used to stay in his home evey year around Chanukah time when he would visit Chicago for one night to raise money.
