A Lakewood Hatzolah member who was responding to a crash involving an overturned vehicle, was himself was involved in an accident, also flipping his vehicle, TLS is reporting.
The member who is a volunteer of Lakewood Hatzolah for approximately 10-years, is also member of the the ‘Lakewood Hatzolah Extrication Team’. He was responding to an overturned vehicle on Lanes Mill Road at around 1:00AM, when he reportedly hit a patch of black ice. His vehicle slid into the nearby trees and overturned.
The member, who was Boruch Hashem unharmed, was able to climb out of the vehicle from the passenger door.
The driver of the other overturned vehicle was not seriously injured, TLS reported.
Roads were extremely icy last night, and have been once again the cause of multiple accidents and spin-outs.

Not to take anything away from the neis that happened to this Hatzolah member, but why print this story and ignore the tragic accident that took the life of R’Dovid Winiarz z”l?
