20:56PM: Infantry soldiers are assigned with taking over the rocket-firing areas in the first phase of the ground forces operation. Soldiers once again are encountering resistance and exchanges of gunfire are taking place.

Soldiers are well-trained, well-stocked, our shluchim and we continue davening as they do their utmost to halt rocket attacks into southern civilian population areas.

As the soldiers begin the difficult advance into hostile territory, the word of the incursion is spreading all around Israel and the world, and frum areas are organizing tehillim and davening on behalf of the soldiers.

AS WE GO TO PRINT: The IDF confirms activating orders are being distributed to tens of thousands of reservists.
