I beg the Ribono Shel Oilam that no Yiddishe kinderlech got hurt!
ok- I have a serious comment/statement/question. Please do not think I am passing judgement on anyone.
I watched out of my window this morning all the people that were running to take their kids to school, go to minyan, and just driving around. There were texts, emails ,and news reports how bad the situation was outside. Hatzolah and chaverim were telling everyone to stay off the roads. The news reports were talking about shut highways, bridges, and 20 car pileups. I watched people speeding, trying to get around others who were going slow, and just plain recklessness. I personally saw 4 accidents on my street.
Where does it say that you can put your life in danger to go daven with a minyan? Who says you can put your kids life in danger? How can you risk all the volunteers lives and safety by making them go out to help people who were irresponsible? Don’t they have families to go home to at night as well?
I saw people who were driving damage other people property in the crashes.
Again,i don’t judge, but as frum jews, as gemara learning people, aren’t we supposed to have more common sense than what I saw this morning?
