Southern Israel was hit with Hamas rocket fire on Shabbos as has been the case during the last week. Rockets landed in Ashdod, Ashkelon, Kiryat Malachi, Kiryat Gat, Ofakim and the Greater Sderot Area.

Close to Shabbos, a rocket slammed into an Ashkelon home, leaving two people lightly injured from shrapnel.

One person was lightly injured in a leg by shrapnel in a rocket attack in Netivot shortly after Shabbos. A rocket slammed into a home, totally destroying the home and leaving a sizable pit. Miraculously, one person was only lightly injured.

Needless to say there is a growing number of hysteria patients as a result of the increase in rocket fire.

In Gaza, Israeli media is reporting IDF artillery is pounding terror targets, signaling to many the IDF ground force incursion is about to happen. I stress this is just media speculation, and at this time, there is no IDF confirmation of any such plan.

PA in Gaza is reporting over 17 dead on Saturday in an. The IAF is reporting heavy bombing raids are taking place against terrorist targets in Gaza. IDF artillery is also pounding terrorists in northern Gaza.

A terrorist was moderately injured when a bomb he was handling exploded near Bet El in Shomron.

A firebomb was hurled at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital shopping center. No injuries were reported.

The soldier seriously wounded last week in the rocket attack in Nachal Oz is showing improvement and he is now listed in moderate condition in Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva.
