On Thursday night, rockets were launched at Beersheva and Ofakim. Baruch Hashem, no injuries were reported. Over 50 rockets were fired at southern Israel on Thursday.

The air force during the night continued striking out at targets in Gaza, including another mosque used to store weapons.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak has announced a closure on PA residents in Yehuda and Shomron, prohibiting them from entering into pre-1967 Green Line Israel.

Israel Police has imposed restrictions on Muslim worshippers visiting the Temple Mount on Friday, prohibiting entry to males under 50 and those without blue Israeli identity cards.

The unseasonably cold weather is expected to continue through Shabbos.
