Chicago: Police Investigate Bomb Threat Against Jewish Schools


bsd.jpgA bomb threat letter was received on “New Year’s Eve” in the West Rogers Park neighborhood that threatened Jewish day schools in Chicago and the suburbs.

A Rogers Park police lieutenant told the WBBM780 radio station that the letter was received Wednesday – in the regular mail delivery – to the Associated Talmud Torahs and the Ida Crown Jewish Academy, 2828 W. Pratt Blvd.

The letter indicated a bomb threat to Jewish day schools in Chicago and the suburbs.

The police Bomb & Arson Section are investigating the incident, and no further details of the letter or the incident were being released as of this time.

  1. Anxiously awaiting more information. I hope they beef up security at all the Jewish Schools, not just the ones listed in the letter. This is quite alarming. We live in Chicago and I want my children and all the children to be safe!!! We also daven fervently for our people in Eretz Yisroel. It’s time for Moshiach.
