It was an emotional simcha on Monday afternoon 21 Teves in Central Beis Medrash in Givat Mordechai, Yerushalayim. It was the bris of the Gross family, Shimon and Michal.
Emotions were especially potent as the bris was held on the one-year anniversary of the tragedy, the pesticide tragedy that ultimately claimed the lives of the couple’s daughters, Yael (4) and Avigail (8) A”H.
The sandek was HaGaon HaRav Azriel Auerbach. Among the guests were Rosh Yeshivas Mir HaGaon Rav Eliezer Yehuda Finkel, HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Ezrachi Shlita and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.
The infant was named Yonasan Eliezer, after a grandfather.

Since one of their sons was 8 at the time of the tragedy, it is not possible that their daughter, a”h, also was. I believe that she was 18 months, not 8 years old.
What’s was the tragedy?
Mazel tov! A real simcha for klal Yisroel! Tizku lgadlo ltorah chuppah umaasim tovim.
Side point- I believe the ages of the girls here are incorrect. If I recall, the boys are the older children and the girls who were niftar were younger, approx ages 3 and 1.5.
The ages in the original article (linked here) are also incorrect. Unless there were twins which there weren’t. Please check the original articles from 1 year ago.
Yael was 18 months and Avigayil was 4 years old.
