HaGaon HaRav Shlomo Halevy Wosner Shlita on Sunday 20 Teves stated the name Alter should be added to HaGaon HaTzaddik Rav David Chaim Stern, who is in critical condition.
His name for tefilos is now Alter David Chaim ben Chaya Sarah Levia bsoch kol cholei Am Yisrael.
The rav was being hosted by Effie Davidian in Boro Park, learning with him when he collapsed. Davidian, who was an advanced EMT in the Hatzalah Gush Dan organization responded to the situation immediately.
He determined the rav was in cardiac arrest and began CPR. Boro Park Hatzalah paramedics and EMTs responded. After 40 minutes of CPR and advanced life support a spontaneous pulse returned. He was transported to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition.
