HaGaon HaRav Yirmiyahu HaKohen, Av Beis Din Paris explained the Shabbos in the French capital was very difficult following the murder of four members of the community in the kosher supermarket terror attack. According to the HaMevaser report, tensions ran high in shuls in the city, adding police did not permit shuls to open in certain areas due to security threats.
Rav HaKohen is quoted saying “I do not stand in the place of Gedolei Yisrael but this situation compels our people to gather worldwide in a day of tefilos”.
The rav continues, drawing an analogy from Purim when there were sincere tefilos and teshuvah and Mordechai and Esther saved the nation. The rav suggests it is time for “לך כנוס כל היהודים”.

Like Eretz Yisrael is any safer than France. Right. Moving here to live a better Jewish life is one thing. Thinking that one can escape their tzoros by running to Eretz Yisrael doesn’t work. Seek the advice of a Godol and follow it.
