As one of the the highest points in Israel at over 3,000 above sea level, Hebron and Ma’arat HaMachpela were blanketed by snow. A new storm system is headed in the coming days as well.Last year, some 700,000 people visited Hebron. Special thanks to the Jewish Community of Hebron for living there and keeping Hebron as a safe place to visit and pray.

So this what blanketed by snow means in Israel ….
Well said #1. I was thinking the exact same thing, especially compared to Chicago.
“Special thanks to the Jewish Community of Hebron for living there . . .” Does YWN have any idea how dangerous it is to live there? Has anyone asked the authentic Daas Torah on this?
