PA Leader Pushing Arab Parties in Knesset to Unite

abasAccording to a Channel 1 News report, PA (Palestinian Authority) Chairman Abu Mazen spoke with MK (Ra’am-Ta’al) Talab Abu-Arar to persuade the three Arab parties to unite and run under a united banner in the upcoming elections for the 20th Knesset.

The report states the PA leader instructed Abu-Arar that after elections, the united Arab list should recommend Labor/The Movement party leader Yitzchak Herzog to receive the presidential mandate to form a coalition government.

When asked to comment on the report, Abu-Arar denies speaking with Abu Mazen about elections. Officials in the PA leader’s office released a statement that the PA does not become involved in internal Israeli politics. The Yisrael Hayom newspaper adds that a senior official in the PA explained Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has been serving for over six years and the diplomatic process has been frozen and therefore, Abu Mazen would prefer working with Herzog.

  1. Why does this idiot have a say in the Israeli Knesset? Let me rephrase that why are Arabs let into the Knesset? If they wouldn’t be there I think that would get rid if lots if problems.
