Ben-Gurion International Airport is making preparations for the predicted winter storm that is supposed to hit between Wednesday and Thursday, 16-17 Teves. International flights scheduled to depart from Terminal 1 will be moved to Terminal 3 beginning on Tuesday at midnight. Israir and Arkia Airlines are moving from S’dei Dov Airport to Ben-Gurion Airport.
Terminal 1 will resume operating on Friday morning 18 Teves.
In other international crossings, heavy equipment is being placed at border crossings along the Jordan Valley and Aravah areas where flooding is expected.
