Former Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon reacted to the PA (Palestinian Authority) decision to sign the Rome Statute as a first step in joining the International Criminal Court.
“Abbas is once again wasting his time threatening Israel with meaningless attempts at lawfare,” said MK Danny Danon, Israel’s former Deputy Defense Minister.
“The minute the PA joins the International Criminal Court a warrant can be issued for the arrest of the Mahmoud Abbas the war criminal. As the supreme commander of the Fatah terrorists who murdered scores of Israelis, and the coalition partner with Hamas in the current PA government, Abbas’ hands are drenched with the blood of innocent civilians,” MK Danon continued.
“I urge Abbas to concentrate on improving the lives of the Arabs of Yehuda and Shomron instead of leading pointless initiatives which will only lead to his eventual fall from power, and even possible incarceration,” Danon concluded.
