Bochrim affiliated with Gur Chassidus who davened in the main beis medresh in Yerushalayim on Shabbos, now on vacation for Chanukah, may on Sunday morning be heading back to their places in the beis medresh. They were instructed to prepare for such an eventuality as a result of the situation in southern Israel.
The bochrim on motzei Shabbos received a bracha from the Rebbe Shlita, and a final decision is expected on Sunday morning regarding their early return to beis medresh ahead of the zman.
The bochrim are supposed to remain in Yerushalayim and take part in lighting with the Rebbe Shlita, but the situation in the south may prompt a decision to curtail their vacation.

The Zechus of their torah will help!
Sorry. But I wish to correct these comments.
The Bochurim learning in Gur are NOT on vacation while in Yerushalayim.
Seder is taking place in Yerushalayim! Boruch Hashem, our bochrim of Chasidei Gur are NEVER on vacation from learning!
That is one of the most basic rules.
Ulevai ALL Bochurim should use their “vacation” in this manner.
Kol Hakavod Lahem!!!!
The smartest strategy of all, learning Torah!
