Children who live in Sderot on erev Shabbos were treated to a day in Yerushalayim, permitting them to escape the horrors of constant rocket attacks and sirens.

The children were officially hosted by Jerusalem City Hall, and they were treated as royal Chanukah guests in the capital, given jelly donuts and other treats to make them feel as they should, realizing their Chanukah has been marred by rockets round-the-clock.

Senior government officials have released statements that they will no longer permit the current situation to continue, but to date; nothing has been done to bring a halt to the continuing rocket attacks.
