Israel Police reports it will not arrest illegal foreign workers during the Christian holiday season in a showing of good-will as it has done in previous years. The move is intended to permit foreigners to observe their holidays without fear of incarceration and deportation.

Paul, a foreign worker from Nepal explained the announcement is nice but past experience has shown that police are not true to their word and when some of the foreigners come out of hiding for the holiday they are indeed taken into custody.
