A poll commissioned by the Emek Yarden Academic College, carried out by Ma’agar Mochot, 58% of Israelis expressed their opposition to a total Israeli withdrawal from the Golan Heights, even for a peace deal with Syria.

In addition, one-third of the respondents feel that soldiers should not be called upon to remove residents from their Golan homes should such a possibility become a reality.
