The European Union of Justice in Luxembourg has ruled on the petition submitted by Hamas seeking to be removed from the European Union’s terror list. The court is granting three months for any EU nation to file an appeal before implementing the decision. The court pointed out its ruling is based on technicalities an “in no way implies any substantive assessment of the question of the classification of Hamas as a terrorist group.”
It is expected that nothing will change other than Hamas and its attorney Liliane Glock recording a victory. The ruling will not result in unfreezing Hamas assets that were seized, at least not until the end of the three-month appeal period.
Responding to the verdict Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stated “We are not satisfied with the European Union’s explanation that the removal of Hamas from its list of terrorist organizations is a ‘technical matter’. The burden of proof is on the European Union and we expect it to put Hamas back on the list forthwith given that it is understood by all that Hamas – a murderous terrorist organization, the covenant of which specifies the destruction of Israel as its goal – is an inseparable part of this list. We will continue to fight Hamas with strength and determination so that it never achieves this goal.”
Hamas maintained most of the evidence used to place Hamas on the terror list in 2003 was based on newspaper clippings. Hamas maintained it was not provided ample opportunity to present its case. The court accepted Hamas’ petition based on these facts.

Mr. Prime Minister, Hamas is not a terror organization. They only want to maime, kill and frightene people. They’re peace-loving and really ought be removed and accorded full nation status with Yerushalyim as its capital.

What fabulous lawyerly language. It is declassified yet still remains as such? This shows you what a bunch of mnuvalim lawyers are to be able to make distinctions such as this. Of Course…Hamas is not a terrorist group and the countries of EU will welcome all members with open arms. BUT WE HAVEN’T SEE THE BIGGEST HEADLINES YET!!!
When the “non-TERRORIST” group launches an attack within one of the EU countries…will they wake up? More than likely they will say that Hamas is showing its “love” by showering attention on them.
They are freedom fighters against oppression and forced takeover from the settlers from Europe, those Je- no, they love Jews.

The European Court seems to have no clue what mishpat is. Nor does it have any common sense. Rather it is hell bent on showing the world how to waste time and money on fatuous reasoning, knowing full well that they burden others with the results of their foolish decisions.
