According to PA (Palestinian Authority) media reports, the Islamic Jihad terror organization in Gaza is warning Israel that launching a military offensive in Gaza will unleash rocket attacks, the likes of wish have yet to be seen in Israel.

Terrorists state that if attacked, they will fire longer-range rockets deeper into Israel, to areas well past the current rocket-range; stated rockets will strike communities that to date, felt immune to such assaults.

In a related matter, Education Minister Prof. Yuli Tamir announced that schools in areas within rocket-firing range have been briefed and in the event of attacks, students and staff are aware of how they are to act.
