The Gur “Keren L’Mishpacha” tzedaka was established by the Gerre Rebbe Shlita to provide support for large Shomer Shabbos families. In recent weeks, membership cards were distributed to tens of thousands of families, many in development areas, and soon, the families will be permitted to use their cards to shop in one of the 50 stores operated by the Yesh chareidi supermarket chain around the country. Eligible families must have five or more children.
The distribution of the cards is a one-time operation, and in the future, recipients will receive notification when they can fill the debit card in one of the supermarket’s branches.
Funds for the campaign are being given by philanthropists in Eretz Yisrael and abroad.

It should be noted that this program is for ALL and ANY Orthodox family with 5 or more children. That means Gerrer, yeshivish, chasidish, Toldos Aron etc, chareidi, dati leumi, sefardi, whatever. Can we hear from the Ger bashers of a month ago? Any negative comments? I’m sure there will be. Will Porush’s new newspaper report this? Will Yated? Will all the Ger bashers be first in line for membership cards?
This is called electioneering.
are they giving this out in the new york area? how does one apply?
good to see that there are some good people left in this corrupt world
how much money is on each card?
since 1971 the org. MESAMCHE LEV is giving out to around 15,000 shomer shabbos families with 5 children and (its actully their slogan that they give sfardic, ashkenazic, chasidish, litvish, mizrachi,)up they give shoes, meat/chicken, fish, grocery coupons, and hachnosas kallah orphaned fund, and the idea of membership cards comes from them, all the members are receiving in the mail a letter that the card is activated, now its a nice thing that gerrer rebbe shilta is doing the same, one more step to unite klal yisroel and bring moshiach
