For anyone living in or visiting the south, the Greater Sderot Area, Gaza-belt communities and even Ashkelon, the government’s ceasefire has long ended but on paper, the agreement expires tomorrow, Thursday.
One child was injured in the attacks on Tuesday, with at least six rockets fired during the day. On Wednesday morning, seven rockets and a mortar shell were fired by 8:00am.

As soon as we heard the alert, we dropped everything and ran for cover but there was no time and as we ran, we heard the powerful explosion. Some of us got really scared and started crying and screaming. In an attack in Sderot later in the day, Baruch Hashem there were no injuries but a local factory was damaged.
Hamas is signaling it will not renew the ceasefire unless Israel agrees to halt IDF operations in Yehuda and Shomron but Defense Minister Ehud Barak continues releasing statements that he believes the ceasefire must be renewed.
Southern residents continue to question what ceasefire exactly is the defense minister speaking of.
