Rav Sholom Dov Wolpe of the “SOS” Save Israel organization has joined forces with Baruch Marzel and they will run under a combined slate in the upcoming general election for the 18th Knesset. The two will run under the Eretz Yisrael Shelanu Party, which they hope will enter the Knesset to act as a staunch opponent to any government attempts to advance land concessions and negotiations with the PA (Palestinian Authority).
Rav Wolpe, a Chabad chossid, approached the right-wing parties seeking a declaration that they will oppose land concessions, but none were willing to make such a statement, prompting his decision to run for a Knesset slot, explaining someone must oppose giving away portions of Eretz Yisrael.
Marzel who in the past election ran under his Chazit Yehudit Party ticket has yet to enter the Knesset, but he continues efforts to get a seat to work as a staunch opposition to the continued policies of Oslo, Wye, Camp David II, Annapolis, and other so-called peace agreements that involve giving portions of Eretz Yisrael away.
