Incredibly, the Sullivan County Board of Elections has denied the existence of a Jewish community in Bloomingburg. Anyone coming to Bloomingburg on any day of the week will see Chasidic Jews going about their daily lives. But, according to the Sullivan Board of Elections, there are fewer than five Chasidic Jews living or attending school in Bloomingburg. That some public officials would deny the rights of certain Americans based on their religious beliefs, dress, and language is an affront to the Constitution and should alarm defenders of Jewish rights and voter’s rights everywhere.

This little article is a big non-sequitur, e.g.:
1. Is the Sullivan County Board of Elections supposed to know how many Jews are in each town within the county? And if so, why? To round us up?
2. And where in this article is it that any public officials are failing to defend the rights of any citizens, Jewish or otherwise?
Who are the monkeys-with-typewriters responsible for this nonsense?
How many of them voted in the last election? How many of them are even registered to vote? If you don’t vote you don’t count.
